SUMMARY:Integrative Breathwork for Self-Discovery  with Eddie LeShure and Margaret Kirschner
DESCRIPTION:Integrative Breathwork is a powerful adjunct to meditation and yoga\, effective for working with addiction\, trauma\, depression\, and anxiety.  \nIt is a powerful approach to self-exploration and personal empowerment that relies on our innate inner wisdom and its capacity to move us toward wholeness. You will cultivate a sense of openness\, honesty\, and a deep connection to inner wisdom.  \nYou can reach expanded states of consciousness in a completely natural way using your breath and a specific music playlist. It nudges your default mode network out of your way and allows intuitive awareness to be known. It also integrates new insights into old stories\, placing you on a higher vantage point to gain a broad perspective. Deeply connect to your body and hear/feel/see the messages from your intuition\, creating a balanced\, calm\, clear state\, trusting that all the answers you seek are inside. \nThe process is very safe and simple\, combining accelerated breathing with evocative music in an eyes closed setting. You remain in complete control of your own process. \nIntegrative Breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and is not a substitute for psychotherapy. It can initiate non-ordinary states of consciousness accompanied by intense emotional and physical releases. If you are pregnant\, have cardiovascular concerns\, severe hypertension (untreated high blood pressure)\, severe mental illness\, epilepsy or have had recent surgery\, infection\, illness or fever\, please do not sign up.  If you have asthma\, please bring your inhaler with you. Thank you. \nACY will provide eye-coverings for this workshop\, but please bring your own if you would prefer. \nCost: $30Financial Aid AvailablePLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming. Registering in advance guarantees your spot and helps the studio have adequate staffing.
