SUMMARY:Happy Hips & Hamstrings w/  Jot Anant
DESCRIPTION:The session will begin with an in-depth lecture\, diving into the anatomy of these areas to help you gain a better understanding of your unique and individual body structure. This foundational knowledge will empower you to support your own specific needs in your practice. \nTightness in the hips and hamstrings can stem from everyday activities like running\, sitting\, stress\, or even something as simple as walking. Often\, we carry unconscious movement patterns that may not serve us well\, leading to discomfort or even pain. By deepening your understanding of your anatomy\, postural habits\, and the mechanics of yoga poses\, you’ll begin to release the tension held in these regions\, creating more space and allowing energy to flow freely throughout the body. \nFollowing the lecture\, we’ll move into a dynamic flow. You’ll experience a deep\, Yang-style practice designed to create heat and length along the back line of the body\, with a focus on the full circumference of the hips. The session will also include Yin-style postures\, where you’ll rest and target the joints and connective tissues\, allowing for deep release and rejuvenation. Throughout\, props will be used to support all levels of practice\, ensuring that everyone feels both comfortable and challenged. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll learn how to strengthen and stabilize these areas to unlock greater mobility and freedom. As we work toward a variety of peak postures\, you’ll experience how the balance of Yin and Yang brings about spaciousness and ease in the body. \nEach participant will also receive a detailed PDF handout\, filled with valuable insights and tips to continue your journey beyond the workshop. \nAre you ready to stretch\, strengthen\, and unlock new possibilities in your body?
