SUMMARY:Take Up Some Space! Practice Setting Boundaries\, Asking for Help\, and Receiving Care w/ Travis Redtail & Eden Sipperly
DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop offers group exercises to help you build confidence in your daily interactions with guided meditation\, vocalization\, scenario improv\, somatic experiencing\, and reiki healing. \nJoin Eden and Travis for a 2.5 hour workshop exploring ways of Taking Up Space – where participants practice the art of speaking their boundaries\, asking for assistance\, and receiving care all within a supportive group setting.  \nGuided in four parts\, participants will: 1) Meditate on their existing strengths with Taking Up Space (guided meditation) 2) Explore their blockages with Taking Up Space in daily life (group discussion) 3) Practice Taking Up Space in group improv exercises (group activity) 4) Practice receiving care in a group reiki healing session (lying down)  \nAbout Eden: Eden is a clinical mental health counselor CMHCA\, Registered Reiki Master/Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT)\, recovery coach\, and meditation guide. She is passionate about the healing powers of connection: to Self\, community\, earth\, and spirit. \nAbout Travis: Travis facilitates extraordinary group experiences that revitalize individuals and teams through the power of community connection. He has facilitated hundreds of participants in workshops on Leadership\, Vitality\, and Yoga – serving corporate clients\, wellness studios\, and festivals for over a decade. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n For more information on Travis\, please see his teacher profile here! \nCost: $35Financial Aid Available- Please stop by the front desk\, call\, or email kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org. \n \n \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming. Registering in advance guarantees your spot and helps the studio have adequate staffing.
