DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness Tools to Manage Stress\, Triggers\, and Self-Criticism  \nRecovery isn’t just about staying sober—it’s about learning how to actually live.  \nIf you’ve ever felt overwhelmed\, stuck in your head\, or frustrated by patterns that keep repeating\, you’re not alone. Many people in recovery struggle not because they lack discipline\, but because they haven’t been taught how to work with their thoughts\, emotions\, and nervous system in a practical way.  \nThis 2-hour experiential workshop offers a different approach.  \nThrough guided mindfulness practices\, real-world tools\, and interactive exercises\, you’ll learn how to slow down\, respond to stress more effectively\, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. This isn’t a lecture—it’s something you’ll feel and practice.  \nWhat You’ll Learn  \n-How to get out of autopilot and into the present moment -Tools to manage stress\, cravings\, and emotional triggers -How to work with difficult emotions instead of avoiding them -Ways to quiet the inner critic and build self-compassion -Simple practices you can use in everyday life  \nWhat to Expect This workshop is experiential and accessible to all levels. You’ll be guided through a series of short practices\, reflections\, and optional partner exercises designed to help you apply what you’re learning in real time.  \nNo prior meditation experience is necessary.  \nWorkshop Flow -Presence: Grounding your attention and building awareness -Regulation: Working with stress\, cravings\, and emotions -Compassion: Shifting your relationship with yourself -Connection & Play: Rebuilding connection and a sense of ease -Integration: Simple ways to bring these practices into daily life  \nWho This Is For  \nIndividuals in recovery (all pathways welcome) Anyone feeling overwhelmed\, stressed\, or disconnected Yoga students looking to deepen mindfulness beyond the mat  \nWhat You’ll Walk Away With  \nYou’ll leave with practical tools you can actually use—along with a simple plan to integrate mindfulness into your daily routine so it becomes part of your life\, not just something you try once. \n \nFor more information on Katbird\, please see his teacher profile here! Registering in advance guarantees your spot and helps the studio have adequate staffing. If fewer than 5 participants register the event may be canceled. \nRefund Policy: We understand that life happens and unforeseen circumstances come up. If life offers up an unexpected event and you need to withdraw from the workshop: \n\nA full refund will be issued if you need to withdraw 4+ days before the workshop.
