SUMMARY:Everything in its Right Place: Radiohead Flow w/ Heather Irene Smith
DESCRIPTION:Please create a Mindbody account for each participant if registering more than 1 person. If you have any questions regarding registration\, or financial aid\, please email Kelsey at  kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org  \nStep onto the mat for a deeply immersive\, 2-hour Vinyasa masterclass sequenced entirely to the atmospheric\, layered\, and sonic landscapes of Radiohead. \nThis workshop bridges the gap between somatic movement and deep listening. Using the band’s iconic rhythms—from the driving baselines of In Rainbows to the hypnotic electronica of Kid A—we will explore a fluid\, creative Vinyasa flow designed to drop you entirely into the present moment. This is an experiential journey where breath\, beat\, and body become one seamless meditation. \nWe’ll start with grounding & attuning\, then move into chanting & breathwork. The Fluid Flow (Vinyasa) will be 75 minutes of a continuous\, creative\, and rhythmic Vinyasa flow. The sequence builds in intensity alongside the music\, peaking with powerful\, expressive sequencing before gently winding down. We’ll conclude movement with a deep release in passive restorative postures\, a long\, immersive final rest and a brief closing meditation. Class will close with an opportunity for community connection: a dedicated window at the very end for students to ask questions\, share their experiences\, or chat about the playlist. \nYou can expect: \n-A Unique Somatic Experience: Discover how complex musical rhythms can unlock new patterns of fluid movement and expression in your physical practice. -Deep State of Flow: Experience the powerful stress-relief of a 75-minute continuous\, breath-to-movement Vinyasa flow. -Curated Playlist Access: Walk away with a digital link to the custom 2-hour Radiohead playlist so you can recreate the therapeutic\, ambient experience at home. \n \nFor more information on Heather Irene\, please see her teacher profile here! She teaches weekly donation-based Gentle flow on Mondays 6:15pm-7:15pm and Vinyasa Flow on Saturdays from 10:30-11:30am. \n\nCost: $30 \nFinancial Aid Available- Please stop by the front desk or email Kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org \n \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming. SUMMARY:Egyptian Energy Healing & Breathwork w/ Katrinna
DESCRIPTION:Please create a Mindbody account for each participant if registering more than 1 person. If you have any questions regarding registration\, or financial aid\, please email Kelsey at  kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org  \n \nJoin Katrinna for a deeply restorative Egyptian Energy Healing & Breathwork experience inspired by the ancient practice of Sekhem\, a high-vibrational energy healing modality connected to ancient Egyptian spiritual traditions and the energetic symbolism of the sun. \nSekhem is an energy healing system similar to Reiki\, where practitioners channel this life-force energy to balance the physical\, emotional\, mental\, and spiritual layers of the body. It brings in an ancient power and wisdom that comes from the source of the sun. This harmonization creates unique healing frequencies that often reported as being of a higher vibration than Reiki. It brings in an ancient power and wisdom that comes from source. \n\n\n\n\nThrough breathwork\, visualization\, and grounding\, you can tap into something ancient and profoundly healing. \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nIn ancient Egyptian teachings\, the sun represented life force energy\, illumination\, vitality\, and renewal. Drawing from these themes\, this workshop is designed to create space for grounding\, energetic movement\, emotional release\, and reconnection to self. \n \nThe experience will begin with a gentle introduction to the foundations and history of Sekhem\, followed by guided breathwork practices intended to calm the nervous system\, deepen awareness\, and encourage energetic openness within the body. You’ll learn a brief introductory history of the Netaru (divine energies)\, Djedhi\, and the energy of the Nile River\, pyramids\, and the legend behind this powerful knowledge. Participants will then be guided through an immersive meditation and group energy healing experience incorporating Egyptian-inspired visualization\, intentional rest\, and energetic alignment practices. The workshop will close with an energizing breath practice to help participants leave feeling more awake.  \n\n  \n\nThis offering is open to all levels\, and modifications will be available throughout the experience to support accessibility and comfort for everyone attending. \nKatrinna teaches donation-based Meditation on Thursdays from 10:45-11:15am.  For more information on Katrinna\, please see her teacher profile here! \nCost: $30 \n\nFinancial Aid Available- Please stop by the front desk or email Kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org \n \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming. SUMMARY:The Somatics of Conflict w/ Meredith Rosenbluth
DESCRIPTION:Please create a Mindbody account for each participant if registering more than 1 person. If you have any questions regarding registration\, or financial aid\, please email Kelsey at  kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org  \n \n \nPlease note: this is part of a 3-part series that focuses on healing through a Somatic Lens. Each workshop is individual\, but participants are invited to join all 3 if they wish. Please see more about The Somatics of Trauma and The Somatics of Attachment for more. \n \n \nConflict is an inevitable part of the human experience—and for many of us\, it feels overwhelming\, threatening\, or unsafe. We ache to be seen\, heard\, and connected\, yet we avoid\, shut down\, or blow up in the face of relational strife. \nOur responses to conflict live inside our bodies. So does our capacity for repair. \nIn this experiential workshop\, we’ll explore conflict through a somatic lens\, focusing on the nervous system as the key to both understanding our conflict patterns and growing our ability to skillfully repair. \nThis workshop includes education\, self-inquiry\, group discussion\, and experiential somatic practice. \n  \nIn this workshop\, you will: \n  Understand the basics of the nervous system and why a somatic approach to conflict is essential \n  Reflect on your personal survival instincts\, early patterning\, and default responses to conflict \n  Learn practical somatic techniques for recognizing activation and working with different nervous system states (i.e.\, fight\, flight\, anxiety\, shutdown) \n  Explore foundational principles of rupture and repair\, including how to move toward reconnection \nUltimately\, you will leave with practical tools\, increased self-awareness\, and a deeper understanding of how to support yourself through relational strife with greater presence\, effectiveness\, and care. \n \n \n \nA testimonial from Meredith’s February 2026 workshop\, The Somatics of Trauma: “Meredith really made this class so amazing. I did not know exactly what to expect going in\, but the amount of information that was given was so digestible. Meredith presented it in a way that was easy to understand and apply to my own life. I really enjoyed that she presented agreements at the beginning of class that set the tone for listening and sharing so that everyone felt comfortable. I left the class feeling like I could move forward with a new confidence in myself and in my body.” \n \nThis workshop is facilitated by somatic emotional health coach and educator\, Meredith Rosenbluth. Offering 1:1 coaching\, breathwork\, and group programs\, Meredith is devoted to cultivating attuned\, grounded\, vulnerable\, and joyful spaces to foster meaningful connection and personal transformation. All of you is welcome\, exactly as you are in any given moment\, always. You can learn more about Meredith’s private practice here. \nFor more information on Meredith\, please see her teacher profile here! Meredith teaches a weekly donation-based Meditation on Wednesdays from 1:15pm-1:45pm. \nCost: $25Financial Aid Available- Please stop by the front desk\, call\, or email kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org. \n \n \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming.
