SUMMARY:Didgeridoo Journey: Presence is Love w/ Corey Costanzo
DESCRIPTION:Please create a Mindbody account for each participant if registering more than 1 person. If you have any questions regarding registration\, please email Kelsey at  kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org \n  \nThere’s a particular kind of stillness that happens when sound moves through you rather than just around you. The didgeridoo does that in a way that’s hard to describe yet easy to feel. \nThe didgeridoo is the world’s oldest wind instrument. This deceptively simple hollow piece of wood produces a hauntingly rich sound laced with overtones and vibrations that facilitate a deep sense of relaxation and connection to one’s inner wisdom. Experience the ancient sound of the didgeridoo as you are guided along a journey of rhythm\, breath\, and soul. \nYou’ll spend most of the workshop lying in comfortable restorative poses\, surrounded by bolsters and blankets\, while the resonant sounds of the didgeridoo work their way through your body. \nBefore we begin\, you’ll get simple guidance to help you drop in and receive the experience fully. Afterward\, we’ll use a brief journaling prompt and small group sharing to help you make sense of what arose\, and walk away with something useful for your own self care practice. \nThis is an invitation to turn toward yourself for a while with no agenda and nothing to fix. Just pure presence\, which is its own form of love. \nThis workshop will follow a similar structure to Corey’s weekly restorative yoga with didgeridoo class with added space for gentle pranayama and guided imagery to help enhance and deepen your relaxation journey. He will be playing multiple didgeridoos in different keys to flow through various meditative states. Join us for two hours to unwind and let the didgeridoo guide you to a deep place of relaxation and ease.  \n\n\nFor more information on Corey\, please see his teacher profile here!  Corey teaches weekly donation-based Restorative Yoga w/ Didgeridoo Fridays 4-5:15pm.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nCost: $30 per personFinancial Aid Available- Please stop by the front desk\, call\, or email kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org. \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming. Registering in advance guarantees your spot and helps the studio have adequate staffing. If fewer than 5 participants register the event may be canceled. \nRefund Policy: We understand that life happens and unforeseen circumstances come up. If life offers up an unexpected event and you need to withdraw from the workshop: A full refund will be issued if you need to withdraw 4+ days before the workshop. Please reach out for your refund\, as it will not be automatically applied to your account. If you need to withdraw within 3 days or fewer\, no refund is provided. \nLate Policy: Doors will close at the workshop start time. We encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes before the workshop start time to ensure there is ample time to park\, check in and settle in to your space. We do have a 10 minute grace period\, and we encourage you to call the studio to let us know if you are running behind. If you are later than 10 minutes after the start of the workshop\, there is a chance you will not be able to enter and no refund will be given. \n\n\n\nCapacity: Please note: Some workshops will fill to capacity of 28 students.

SUMMARY:The Somatics of Trauma w/ Meredith Rosenbluth
DESCRIPTION:Please create a Mindbody account for each participant if registering more than 1 person. If you have any questions regarding registration\, or financial aid\, please email Kelsey at  kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org  \n \n \nPlease note: this is part of a 3-part series that focuses on healing through a Somatic Lens. Each workshop is individual\, but participants are invited to join all 3 if they wish. Please see more about The Somatics of Conflict and The Somatics of Attachment for more. \n \n \nThe Somatics of Trauma is a compassionate\, educational\, and experiential workshop designed to help you understand trauma through the lens of the body—both in impact and in healing. We’ll explore the ways our bodies are wired to protect us; what trauma is and why it can lock the protective instinct on overdrive; and how to somatically support ourselves in finding safety and ease\, both during activation and as a baseline in our lives. \nThrough lecture\, personal reflection\, group discussion\, and gentle movement practices\, this workshop invites a deeper sense of self-understanding and provides practical tools to bolster nervous system regulation and resilience. \nThrough this workshop\, you will: \n✨ Learn about the functions and operations of the nervous system✨ Examine and understand trauma; its types and causes (PTSD vs. cPTSD); and why a somatic approach to healing from trauma is essential✨ Develop awareness of what your primary protective responses are; when they are rooted in the present vs. the past; and how to be with them rather than act from them✨ Learn simple movement practices to support self-regulation when triggered and expand your capacity in everyday life \n✨ Be held in an attuned and compassionate container while navigating tender material \n✨ Leave with a sense of empowerment\, clarity\, and a renewed connection to your body’s innate capacity for healing \nAs humans\, we are wired for connection; healing happens interpersonally. This workshop is an invitation to settle\, to learn\, to be curious\, to feel\, to move\, to connect\, to reflect\, to integrate\, and to be. \n \n \nA testimonial from Meredith’s February 2026 workshop\, The Somatics of Trauma: “Meredith really made this class so amazing. I did not know exactly what to expect going in\, but the amount of information that was given was so digestible. Meredith presented it in a way that was easy to understand and apply to my own life. I really enjoyed that she presented agreements at the beginning of class that set the tone for listening and sharing so that everyone felt comfortable. I left the class feeling like I could move forward with a new confidence in myself and in my body.” \n \nThis workshop is facilitated by somatic emotional health coach and educator\, Meredith Rosenbluth. Offering 1:1 coaching\, breathwork\, and group programs\, Meredith is devoted to cultivating attuned\, grounded\, vulnerable\, and joyful spaces to foster meaningful connection and personal transformation. All of you is welcome\, exactly as you are in any given moment\, always. You can learn more about Meredith’s private practice here. \nFor more information on Meredith\, please see her teacher profile here! Meredith teaches a weekly donation-based Meditation on Wednesdays from 1:15pm-1:45pm. \nCost: $45Financial Aid Available- Please stop by the front desk\, call\, or email kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org. \n \n \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming. SUMMARY:Into Stillness: A Breath & Sound Journey w/ Andrew Greene
DESCRIPTION:Please create a Mindbody account for each participant if registering more than 1 person. If you have any questions regarding registration\, or financial aid\, please email Kelsey at  kelsey@ashevillecommunityyoga.org \n\nYogic philosophy teaches us that lasting peace does not come from life circumstances. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt comes from within. \n\nThis integrated breathwork & sound bath experience activates your body to work through any emotional or psychological blockages\, and then calms your nervous system for a lasting sense of peace and clarity. \n\nThe experience is divided into two phases: \n\nBreathwork for Activation: We open and expand your state of awareness with rhythmic\, conscious breathing\, accompanied by evocative music. This phase opens up your being to a higher intelligence\, often provoking unexpected insights\, profound visions\, and deep emotional release.  \n\nSound Bath Into Stillness: Then\, we follow with an organic sound bath tuned to 432 Hz\, a frequency commonly associated with calming the nervous system. The deep peace you access enables seamless integration of the fruits of the breathwork into your body and mind.  \n\n10 or so minutes will be allocated at the beginning for gentle movement practice\, grounding and releasing physical blockages for the journey ahead. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nFor more information on Andrew\, please see his teacher profile here! Andrew teaches weekly donation-based Vinyasa Flow Mondays 4:15pm-5:15pm and Gentle Flow Thursdays 9:30am-10:30am. \n  \n\n\n\nCost: $30  \n\n \nPLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming.
