You will learn the most practical, effective, and simple body-based practices that quickly shift you from your distracted mind into your intelligent body where you can feel safe to breathe easily, move from your center, and make wise decisions that guide you forward to be the person you know yourself to be. Margaret Kirschner is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Therapist (E-RYT 500 C-IAYT), ACISTE Certified Mental Health Professional (ACMHP), Breathwork Facilitator, Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) and Birth Doula. Margaret’s professional background includes 9 years of training, supervision, and direct client contact in addiction counseling.
With 23 years experience as a yoga teacher, Margaret has worked as a trauma-sensitive therapist in group settings with thousands of individuals in various treatment facilities for substance misuse and disordered eating. Margaret safely supports individuals in learning to listen to and trust their bodies with an attitude of curiosity and compassion. Her soothing voice and attention to detail provide participants with a safe and empowering experience of mindful contemplation, nurturing movements and breathing patterns that promote nervous system resiliency.
Eddie LeShure is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Yoga
Instructor (RYT 200), Meditation Teacher, Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS), Breathwork Facilitator, Spiritual Emergence Coach® (SEC) and person in long-term recovery. His professional background includes 9 years of training, supervision and direct client contact in addiction counseling.
Eddie’s personal journey took him deep into the throes of active addiction and incarceration on a drug arrest. His two years behind bars were mostly spent in the notorious Attica Prison where he
survived a rebellion in 1971 that killed 43 inmates and employees. Eddie has facilitated groups
for many years in numerous treatment and recovery facilities for substance misuse and disorder eating, guided workshops and retreats, plus regularly presents at conferences addressing addiction recovery. His personal healing and recovery and how he works with others have always been guided by deep understanding and compassion.
