Of the many props available for your yoga practice, the wall is one of the most relatively available prop within our home and studio spaces. By offering comfort and support for the body to release in restorative postures. The wall provides stability, balance, and even the potential to deepen into a stretch. Encouraging more safety and greater security for the body when learning inversions, as well as offering building blocks to variations. Arm balances can also find the support of the wall, freeing us with each attempt of our fears and doubts within the mind. Helpful in finding alignment as well as a reminder to keep certain body parts active; the wall can enhance your overall practice.
During this two hour session we will utilize the studios wall space to investigate alignment principles, stretching, and support within the postures. Leaving with a well rounded exploration of the wall as a beneficial prop for our asana practice. Our journey at the wall may reveal the comfort of poses reclined, seated, standing, balancing and inverting. You are not required to try each pose, this is a workshop to encourage us to meet the practice where we need it. May the wall hold us.

PLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all programming. Registering in advance guarantees your spot and helps the studio have adequate staffing. If fewer than 5 participants register the event may be canceled.
