Tuition

At Asheville Community Yoga, we believe that diverse groups of people with different backgrounds and experiences make for a richer learning experience and open us to a broader understanding of the world we share. This broader understanding is an essential quality of a dedicated yoga practitioner. To achieve this goal, we have tried our best to set up a tiered pricing system that hopefully makes this immersion accessible to a wide and diverse range of people.

Our three distinct tiers are…

$475 / Community Rate: Discounted spaces for those in our community who represent marginalized populations and have and/or have limited access to financial resources.

$600 / Sustainer Rate: This rate pays for you and allows for Asheville Community Yoga to run operations in a way that is truly sustainable.

$750 / Supporter Rate: This is an opportunity for those who have more access to resources to pay it forward and support others on their Yoga journey.

Achieving accessibility for all is dependent on leveraging privilege in our community. If you can afford a price point above the Community Rate, please consider paying more for the benefit of all. Payment plans are available for every pricing option.

Refund Policy: We understand that life happens and unforeseen circumstances come up. If life offers up an unexpected event and you need to withdraw from the program:

  • A full refund (with the exception of a $50 registration fee) will be reimbursed if you need to withdraw up to one month prior to your program start date.
  • If you need to withdraw less than one month prior to your program start date, 50% of what you’ve paid will be refunded.
  • No refunds will be given after the start of your program.
Teacher Bio

Amber Acheson

As one of the directors of Asheville Community Yoga Amber considers herself, first and foremost, always a student of yoga. Her practice reminds her to breathe and when she does, her breath moves her body and mind to a soft quiet space within. There the challenges, worries and fears of this world become less of a burden and she remembers that she is a free and peaceful soul. She has dedicated her life to guiding others in doing the same for themselves. Her hope is to inspire others to trust the clarity they discover on the path of yoga. She believes doing so has the potential to make the world a more peaceful, loving place where all beings are truly free.

Kelly Gilmore

Kelly Gilmore is a dedicated, seasoned, down-to-earth yoga teacher and body worker with a background in holistic, mindful living.

Her classes are inspired from her various trainings through out the last 17 years of being on the amazing path of yoga and 27 years of adoring nature. She began teaching in 2001 after becoming certified in Flow Yoga with White Lotus Foundation and continued on their advanced teacher training the following year. Anusara attracted her shortly after and she completed a 300 hour teacher training which led to several hundred hours of therapeutics and an appreciation for alignment. With the fascination of the body and it’s physiology, Kelly became a LMBT in 2006. In 2013, she completed a 500 hour training with Subtle Yoga and became a Yoga Therapist. In 2016, she received certification in Yin Yoga and Aromatherapy.

Kelly’s classes are skillfully taught, offering empowering alignment and dynamic sequencing to make for a fun, challenging class to create strength, balance, and harmony while encouraging students to play and honor their edges, breathe deeply, allow self inquiry and recognize the one breath that connects us all.

If you feel called to offer something more in this life, whether by extending your practice to teach others or simply expanding your presence in relationships with others, this training will help you uncover your potential and connect with the greatness that’s already within you.
