Freedom Through Service

Yoga is so much more than a physical practice. Seva- or selfless service- is a huge part of the practice and of our studio. As an organization that relies on the support of volunteers, we know the importance of mutual aid and community service. With this in mind, Asheville Community Yoga facilitates service projects every month with other local nonprofits and organizations to extend the support we have to the greater Asheville/WNC commUNITY. Getting involved in this way furthers your yoga practice, connects you to other community members, and exposes you to new skills, experiences, and perspectives you may otherwise have not encountered. Past collaborations include: Homeward Bound, Bounty and Soul, MANNA FoodBank, RiverLink, and Habitat for Humanity.
