Finding Balance in Diet & Lifestyle w/ Ayurveda with Irmi Presutto

Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga, helps us understand how what we eat and how we live impacts our body. In this workshop, you'll learn about how we can use the 20 Ayurvedic attributes (gunas) to positively gear what we eat, our sleeping habits and our emotional patterns to be more balanced, harmonious and healthy.

Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that is often equated as the sister science to yoga. Its name comes from the Sanskrit words “ayur,” meaning life, and “veda,” meaning knowledge or science. Ayurveda focuses on balancing the body’s energies (doshas) to maintain health and prevent illness.

The ancient medical system of Ayurveda found that all organic and inorganic substances, as well as thoughts and actions, have definite attributes. Every food, plant, emotion, state of mind and environment, can be described by the universal attributes (gunas).

According to Ayurveda there are twenty basic attributes, or ten opposing pairs, hot and cold for example.

In this workshop you will learn:
What are the twenty attributes (gunas)?
What are the attributes of the 5 ayurvedic elements and the doshas?
How do they relate to each individual uniquely?
How do they influence our diet, sleep, digestion and mood?
How can we easily use the 20 ayurvedic attributes/gunas, to positively gear our food intake, sleeping habits and emotional patterns to be more balanced, harmonious and healthy?
And there is always so much more…

I am looking forward to sharing with you. No experience necessary
