Learn the basic Ayurvedic principles to apply in your kitchen and home. Understanding the 5 great elements, the 3 doshas and 20 gunas can improve indigestion such as constipation, diarrhea, flatulence and bloating. With Ayurveda, sleep patterns can improve, and stress can reduce, to bring life back to a beautiful balance.

Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that is often equated as the sister science to yoga. Its name comes from the Sanskrit words “ayur,” meaning life, and “veda,” meaning knowledge or science. Ayurveda focuses on balancing the body’s energies (doshas) to maintain health and prevent illness.

According to the Ancient Indian Science of Ayurveda, the fundamental building blocks of life are the Five Great Elements: Earth – Water – Fire – Air – Ether/Space. 

From them the three Doshas derive: Vata – Pitta – Kapha.

Elements, Doshas, food and all substances have Gunas (characteristics/qualities).
This workshop will teach the basic ayurvedic principles for you to apply in your kitchen and home. Understanding the 5 great elements, the 3 doshas and 20 gunas can improve indigestion such as constipation, diarrhea, flatulence and bloating. 

Sleep patterns can improve, and stress reduces, to bring life back to a sustainable balance. 

I am excited to share the beautiful and brilliant teachings of Ayurveda and Yoga with you.
This is not a yoga class, but simple yoga moves might be included to relax and rest.

  • A full refund will be issued if you need to withdraw 4+ days before the workshop.
  • If you need to withdraw within 3 days or fewer, no refund is provided.
