Yoga for the Mature Body YTT

A 30 hour Continuing Education Course with Diane Saccone

July 18th – 20th, 2025. Offered in person or virtual.

A specialized continuing education course designed for yoga instructors who want to deepen their understanding of teaching senior populations.

This program focuses on adapting traditional yoga practices to meet the unique needs of older adults, both in general classes and in more specific senior settings.

You’ll learn how to safely modify poses, incorporate accessible props, and foster a supportive environment that enhances flexibility, strength, balance, and overall well-being for mature bodies.

Whether you’re teaching a multi-generational class or working with older adults in senior care facilities, this training will equip you with the tools and confidence to create a meaningful yoga experience for every participant.

Alignment 101

A 2 hour Continuing Education Workshop with Dana Maria

April 12th, 2025, 10:15am – 12:15pm

Join us for a 2-hour all-levels workshop where we’ll explore how to create alignment that works for your body. Through mindful movement, and practical techniques, you’ll learn how to: adapt poses to fit your unique structure, find stability and ease in your practice, reduce strain and prevent injury, & cultivate awareness of your body’s natural alignment.

Yoga for Osteoporosis

A 4 hour Continuing Education Workshop with Diane Saccone

April 13th, 2025, 10am – 2pm. In person or virtual

This 4 hour evidence based workshop will focus on how specific yoga poses help not only slow the progression of bone loss but create strong bones, and at the same time improve balance.

This workshop is perfect for all age groups and anyone living with bone health challenges.

How to Use Props to Support Your Practice

A 2 hour Continuing Education Workshop with Dana Maria

May 4th, 2025, 1pm – 3pm

Join us for a 2-hour all-levels workshop designed to help you unlock the full potential of your yoga practice using props! Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, props like blocks, blankets, and bolsters can enhance alignment, increase stability, and create a more accessible and enjoyable experience on the mat.
