Note: All breathwork techniques should ideally be done on an empty stomach, or at least 1-2 hrs after eating a full meal. All levels are welcome. Please see contraindications at the bottom of the description.Â
The SOMA Breath is designed to give you energy, clarity, and improve fitness and endurance in a fun and exciting way. This Alkhemical Breathwork journey will dive into the 4 classical elements of Earth, Water, Air, and Fire, plus the 5th element of Aether or Akasha as a way to harmonize the various layers of the self and ascend the vibrational scale of Being.
This 2 hour workshop combines breathwork, visualization, and our signature SOMA Breath music that helps you synchronize your breathing to a perfect rhythm. It will start with some background/contextual explanations, and a demonstration of the SOMA Breath technique. We will then practice a chanting meditation to help ground and prepare for a guided visualization. The breathwork itself will consist of 5 rounds of the SOMA Breath, which combines rhythmic breathing and breath retentions to safely induce a state of intermittent hypoxia and trigger an endogenous psychedelic experience.
The key to manifesting is reaching peak emotional states and implanting intentions in this heightened state.
Use this time to create powerful visualizations of the future you want to create. Your energy will become charged and your personal magnetism will expand. Â

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Slow rhythmic breathing techniques of SOMA Breath are safe to be used for anyone, and can be beneficial for all individuals. Forceful mouth breathing, prolonged breath holds and extended intense fast breathwork/hyperventilation for more than 5 minutes, should NOT be practiced in the case of any of the following:
- Severe/critical diseases or infections (Esp. if it impairs your ability to breathe)
- Heart issues such has uncontrolled hypertension (usually after a heart attack), a pacemaker, or irregular heart beat (Exception: your doctor gives you specific permission).
- Organ failure or late-stage terminal illness
- Pregnancy
- Epilepsy
Some conditions (Eg: Tinnitus, hernias) may be aggravated by prolonged breath holds and hyperventilation and careful attention to technique is required.
