The 6 Ayurvedic Tastes w/ Irmi Presutto

Every food or substance has taste like sweet or sour and a digestive process. Understanding this relationship helps to choose favorable food for each individual.

Every food or substance has a taste, like sweet, sour or pungent. When food enters the mouth digestion begins. Understanding basic principles of the six tastes and their digestive process helps to recognize what foods are favorable and balancing for ones constitution. In this workshop we explore Ayurveda’s logical approach to an individual’s diet. This helps to balance indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, insomnia and stress.

I am excited to share the beautiful and brilliant teachings of Ayurveda and Yoga with you.
This is not a yoga class, but simple yoga moves might be included to relax and rest.
