Asheville Community Yoga is thrilled to be offering a total of 6 weeks of yoga and mindfulness camp this summer for kids ages 5-10! Our yoga camp holistically introduces children to the 8 limbs of yoga in digestible and engaging ways. Summer camp days are filled with a combination of mindfulness, movement, yoga games and activities, art, gardening and more! Children will connect with their breath, have fun as they move their bodies, and tap into their creativity as they express themselves through music, art, storytelling and nature.
Learn poses that can be used to build strength and muscle mass, prepare for or pre or post-surgical procedure recovery, reduce stress, and improve mobility and balance in a safe and supported setting.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who struggles with summer heat, feels overheated year-round, or simply wants to deepen their understanding of seasonal wellness and Ayurveda.
The aim of this workshop is to foster connection through curiosity, compassion, and communication, and awaken our innate healing capabilities! We’ll warm up with a few simple partner yoga practices before delving into some basic (but extremely effective!) Thai massage techniques.
Join Jot Anant for an insightful and playful workshop where you’ll explore the anatomy of two essential regions of the body: the hips and hamstrings. We’ll flow deeply in a yang style to create heat and length and also rest into yin style postures to target the joints and connective tissues. This workshop is designed for all levels of practitioners.

We wish to create an experience that will allow parents/caregivers to benefit from the physical, emotional and spiritual connection between themselves and their little ones. One can anticipate light breathwork, gentle movements, restorative postures, baby massages, and more.
Let the energy of the Full Moon meet the energy of the Lion's Gate portal for this intentional Blacklight Yoga class! Find a sense of grounding, connection and release as we move through yoga, breathwork and dance to better align with the self.
This 2 hour workshop combines breathwork, visualization, and our signature SOMA Breath music that helps you synchronize your breathing to a perfect rhythm and induce an endogenous psychedelic experience. We will dive into the 4 classical elements of Earth, Water, Air, and Fire, plus the 5th element of Aether or Akasha as a way to harmonize the various layers of the self and ascend up the vibrational scale of Being to a peak state of Transcendence.
