Yin Yoga has so much to offer in regards to healing and alignment on the physical, mental and energetic levels and has gained in popularity over the past many years. While “Yang” Yoga styles (Ashtanga, Vinyasa and other “flow” styles) focus on muscles, “Yin” Yoga focuses on connective tissues with deeper longer holds and more time spent in stillness.

We will use the practices of asana, pranayama, and meditation to identify the "blocks" within the body and mind that lead to compulsive and damaging behaviors. This will NOT be rooted in a 12 step approach; rather we will use the process of intuition, and allow the body to sit with what arises. This workshop will allow practitioners to set an intention and achieve a state of embodiment, thus illuminating the connection between negative self-talk and the habits it can lead to.
