Alex’s yoga practice began in 2019 and deepened during COVID, when the world was full of uncertainty and yoga offered a steady outlet for movement, grounding, and inner calm. What started as a physical practice gradually became a spiritual path and a way to center during the hustle of daily life.
Alex has practiced yoga in India and Nepal and has volunteered at Asheville Community Yoga since 2023. He completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2026. He is deeply grateful to be part of the ACY Community and for the opportunity to share yoga as a practice of breath, awareness, connection, and belonging – both on and off the mat.
