Ana is an Asheville native and has been attending classes at Asheville Community Yoga since 2014. She is beyond excited to have joined the teaching team. She teaches a playful and sustainable practice that emphasizes intuitive movement and aims to restore balance to the nervous system. She enjoys holding a space that provides students the opportunity to challenge themselves, whether that challenge means powering through a tough sequence or easing back. With an educational background in neuroscience, Ana loves peppering her classes with juicy neuroscience tidbits, you’ll leave having learned something new!

Ana is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200 RYT. She completed her 200 hour training at Asheville Yoga Center, and completed additional training in Yoga Sculpt at Down Dog Yoga AVL. Off the mat you’ll find her reading, hiking, dancing, or seeking out live music. Ana loves a good playlist.
