A recent transplant from Jacksonville’s coast to the mountains of Asheville, Chelsea is excited to make Western North Carolina home and build community through a practice she loves. With a background in education, music, and live events, she brings a natural curiosity and love of connection into the spaces she teaches.
Since completing her 200-hour training in 2017, Chelsea has taught in studios and community settings, including trauma-informed yoga with veterans, youth in juvenile detention, and individuals in rehabilitation. Her teaching is rooted in curiosity, connection, and joy, responding to the people in the room and the moment as it unfolds. She weaves together mindful movement, breath, music, yoga philosophy, self-inquiry, and playfulness, seeing teaching as an exchange where she is continually learning, too. She is currently completing her 300-hour training through Asheville Yoga Center and is grateful to continue learning, connecting, and sharing the practice in her new mountain home.
