With all of the ways life evolves, yoga has been one of the few constants for Chelsey in the past two decades. Yoga began as a whimsical experiment in her life, and while it still is that, it has also become an ever-giving source of personal embodiment, spiritual, emotional and physical growth, groundedness, and a stable root to community. In 2016, Chelsey earned her 200 hr YTT in Colorado. At that point, her goal was simply to deepen her own practice while studying the body from new perspectives, but with time, and as she vitalized her own yoga practice, it became something she wanted to share with others, as a teacher. Chelsey owned her own studio in Vermont and is looking forward to being part of the yoga community in Asheville. She continues to enrich her own learnings as she immerses herself into a 300 hr YTT program, locally. Chelsey is a big Human Design nerd, loves to hike and is someone you can regularly find dancing to live music in the area.
Chelsey’s classes encourage deep stretching, fun flows and dynamic challenges. These classes encompass a mindful and playful nature through a strong and slow vinyasa. You can expect to feel rejuvenated, nourished and challenged in every class. She enjoys inviting the individual’s exploration of intuitive movement as well as guided alignment, allowing each student to tune into their own body and personal needs and desires.
