The pressure, stress and friction of a busy world requires us to create balance and generate a sense of personal calmness, peace and stillness for overall health and wellness. For me, Yoga has been a valuable tool for maintaining and unifying the physical, mental and emotional bodies that compose our human vessel. Creating forms and shapes in the active asana practice brings awareness to our physical bodies. Linking breath with movement unfolds an inner landscape, calling us to dive deeper and discover the vast formlessness within. Joseph completed a 250hr yoga teacher training at Asheville Community Yoga in 2025 and has been a student of the studio since 2013. His classes will move from gentle to active movement with the intention to create uplifting energy and a regulated nervous system to reintegrate with the world off the mat.
