Julie Medlin

As a RYT 200 certified yoga teacher, I graduated from Nova Yoga School following an immersive two-week program in Guatemala. My journey towards clarity and self-discovery began 25 years ago after a transformative hypnotherapy session with a Buddhist monk. This pivotal experience led me to explore Eckhart Tolle’s “The Power of Now” and ultimately guided me to the practice of yoga.

For the past decade, I have been an active member of Asheville Community Yoga, where I have deepened my practice through numerous classes, workshops and retreats. Through the integration of yoga and therapy, I have been able to heal from childhood trauma and cultivate a profound sense of self-love.

My passion lies in sharing the healing power of yoga with others. I incorporate yoga philosophy into my classes, blending holistic yoga with mantra, meditation, pranayama, and asana. My teaching approach is designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit, offering students a comprehensive and transformative yoga experience.
