Being introduced to yoga during a time of major transition, I was able to find calm, a zero-point, “reset” in myself through consistent practice. Yoga, to me, is a practice to reconnect to life (nature), our purpose and ourselves through a fully integrated practice of physical awareness, mental fortitude and connection to the golden thread of essence/spirit that brings us to our wholeness as one humanity. Through this practice, I find, we cultivate gracefulness, acceptance, understanding and peace which we can ripple out to the world, no matter what challenges/adversities inevitably face each of us. I aim to share what this practice has shown me and help others build on their own revelations. Forever a student; with gratitude a teacher.
