Lucia is a passionate nature and animal lover who works at the intersection of energy medicine,
yoga, planetary justice, and activism. Her goal is to create a safe and grounded space where
individuals can reconnect with themselves, restore balance, and cultivate greater resilience.
Lucia’s formal journey began during her graduate studies at the University of San Diego, where she
earned a Master’s in Leadership with a focus on Organizational Psychology. While writing her thesis
on empathy and our interconnection with nature, she began researching practices that help people
raise their baseline frequency, spark resilience, and foster presence, awareness, and an abundant
mindset.
Her path led her first to Transcendental Meditation, which then expanded into a couple of years of
Buddhist meditation practice, followed by several intensive silent Vipassana meditation retreats that
profoundly reshaped her perceptions of attachment and self-criticism. Alongside meditation, she
explored movement practices to support her evolution. She found Kundalini, Gentle, and Tantra
Yoga. Lucia earned a 200-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Certification, a Kundalini
Fundamentals Certification from Life-Force Academy, and underwent several trainings in Asana and
Meridian Flow, along with countless hours of study in various meditation disciplines.
Lucia taught Gentle Yoga, Kundalini Blend, and Mantra Meditation at The Well Space in West
Asheville, as well as providing free community classes after Helene. She is also studying under the
guidance of master Lebby Barnett, MSW, one of the early teachers in the lineage of Japanese monk
Mikao Usui. Additionally, her journey has deepened through the study of the teachings of the
Mexican Indigenous Medicine Wheel and the practice of sound meditation at the M Institute.
Today, Lucia offers guided meditations, frequency alignment, energetic healing, and balance
through science mapping, tuning forks, Reiki, and other integrative modalities designed to support
overall well-being.
