Mackenzie Mealing

Mackenzie began her yoga journey in 2020, completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and quickly developed a passion for sharing the practice with others. After moving to Asheville in 2021, she continued teaching at The Riveter, where she guided yoga classes for climbers, and Namaste in Nature, helping students cultivate a deeper connection with both nature and themselves.

She later completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Asheville Yoga Center, where she focused on Sanskrit studies, Bhakti, Nidra, Kaiut, meditation, and pranayama practices. Through years of teaching students ranging from beginners to advanced practitioners, Mackenzie has developed the ability to create classes that are accessible, supportive, and welcoming for all levels.

Passionate about making yoga available to everyone, she specializes in alignment-based slow flows and is dedicated to fostering both physical well-being and spiritual growth within her classes.

Mackenzie is also a recent graduate of University of North Carolina Asheville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and expanded her knowledge of anatomy and physiology. During her studies, she also became certified in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), further deepening her understanding of human movement and the body’s capacity for healing and growth.
