Tony Wolff has been practicing Hatha Yoga for forty years and teaching for twenty-five. He did advanced studies with Sarah Powers, and teacher trainings in Thai Yoga with Saul David Raye; and with Kathleen Miller in the spirit of TKV Desikachar. He is a former achievement addict, recovering from a career of pursuing the American Dream. He initially approached yoga with the same competitive zeal he used to achieve material success. But a funny thing happened along the way: he stopped enjoying the practice. After years of injury and frustration, the 5 Not-So-Noble-Truths emerged to guide his practice and teaching: Slow Down, Pay Attention, Breathe, Relax, and Lighten Up. Tony is author of Lightening Up: The Yoga of Self Acceptance. More of his approach can be found at Yogaofselfacceptance.com.
