Yin Yoga Teacher Training
Yin Yoga Teacher Training
at Asheville Community Yoga with Kelly Gilmore (In-Person)
Yin Yoga has so much to offer in regards to healing and alignment on the physical, mental and energetic levels and has gained popularity in the past many years. While “Yang” Yoga styles (Ashtanga, Vinyasa and other “flow” styles) focus on muscles, “Yin” Yoga focuses on connective tissues, with deeper longer holds and more time spent in stillness.
This training will provide you with the knowledge and embodied experience to safely and skillfully guide your students or yourself through transformative Yin Yoga sequences and classes.
This 40 hour Yoga Teacher Training is geared towards those who already hold a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training certificate and is worth 40 continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance. Although the training will be created with current yoga teachers in mind, the format and information will be accessible for anyone looking for a deeper understanding of Yin Yoga as a therapeutic technique.

Tuition
At Asheville Community Yoga, we believe that diverse groups of people with different backgrounds and experiences make for a richer learning experience and open us to a broader understanding of the world we share. This broader understanding is an essential quality of a yoga teacher. To achieve this goal, we have tried our best to set up a tiered pricing system that hopefully makes this training accessible to a wide and diverse range of people.
Our three distinct tiers are…
$450 / Community Rate: Discounted spaces for those in our community who represent marginalized populations and have and/or have limited access to financial resources.
$650 / Sustainer Rate: This rate pays for you and allows for Asheville Community Yoga to run operations in a way that is truly sustainable. Those registering at this level may be eligible for a partial scholarship. See details below.
$750 / Supporter Rate: This is an opportunity for those who have more access to resources to pay it forward and support others on their Yoga journey.
Achieving accessibility for all is dependent on leveraging privilege in our community. If you can afford a price point above $450, please consider paying more for the benefit of all.
Payment plans are available for every pricing option.
Refund Policy: We understand that life happens and unforeseen circumstances come up. If life throws you a curve ball and you need to withdraw from the program before the start date, a portion of your tuition may be considered for refund. No refunds will be given after the start of the program.
