Yin Yoga has so much to offer in regards to healing and alignment on the physical, mental and energetic levels and has gained in popularity over the past many years. While “Yang” Yoga styles (Ashtanga, Vinyasa and other “flow” styles) focus on muscles, “Yin” Yoga focuses on connective tissues with deeper longer holds and more time spent in stillness.
For thousands of years people have gathered in circles to heal, learn, thrive and sustain harmony in community. The circles hold space for listening to your own heart of wisdom and healing on a deeper level. This space doesn't critique and is not intended to be intellectually analyzing or deconstructing but hearing spiritually. I believe our current culture is asking us to use the old ways to support a new paradigm of being and working together. As we learn and lead in this new way, we bring with us more peace, connection and healing in these challenging times.

This is not your average yin class. This is a potent practice where the challenge is cultivating strength and flexibility in relationship with your mind and body. Poses will be low to the floor, holding anywhere from 3-12 minutes. This extended yin yoga workshop will allow us the time to explore and understand our physical boundaries. We will have the space to safely approach edges and decipher where and when to challenge self-limiting boundaries.
Together, we will cultivate a tender approach to practice patience, breathe deeply, and illuminate the depths within.
