You will walk away from this workshop with a deeper knowledge of your body and how your physical and emotional states are altered by being on the mat.
Experience sound healing and restorative yoga with Allie! Come as you are, wear comfy clothes, and expect a relaxing and transformative experience.
This 6 week series works to improve balance, build muscle strength, flexibility
and mobility to enhance overall physical health, which leads to better functioning
in daily activities. Participation in the program may also result in better mental
health, reduced stress, improved memory and cognition, and increased
self-esteem.
Led by A Mindful Emergence, this group will offer simple, practical, easily repeatable skills in mindfulness, movement and breathing practices for emotional resiliency.
A weekly offering on Monday evenings of a compassionate and judgment-free healing space for rest-curious community members to learn, practice, and support each other in our rest journeys.
During this workshop we will release the anticipation of the season by intentionally working with, and then through, the energy. This workshop will flow through movements such as tapping, shaking, dance and yoga, eventually slowing down to evolve into a state of calm and inner peace. After this workshop you will be able to tap into some of these tools and skills as the season surrounds us.
This therapeutic workshop will be a combination of practice and lecture. We’ll review basic physical and energetic anatomy and alignment, yoga poses that can help provide relief from back pain, as well as the ones to avoid, and discover how to feel more supported in our bodies and in our lives.
In this experiential workshop, we'll examine how our ancestral rest inheritance – what our ancestors, family, and society passed down – has influenced our beliefs about rest. Through reflection exercises, community shares, an introduction to the cultural erasure of rest, and a somatic rest practice, participants will reframe what they've learned about rest to heal shame and guilt.
