The Somatics of Attachment w/ Meredith Rosenbluth

Anxious, Avoidant, Disorganized, and How to Build a Secure Attachment within Yourself --- Attachment isn’t just psychological—it’s *physiological*. In this experiential, somatic-based workshop, you’ll learn how attachment patterns form, how they live in your nervous system, and how to begin healing them from the inside out. Walk away with enhanced awareness and practical tools to build greater security within yourself and your relationships.

Please note: this is part of a 3-part series that focuses on healing through a Somatic Lens. Please see more about The  The Somatics of Conflict and Somatics of Trauma for more.

Attachment patterns shape our closest relationships—how comfortable we are with intimacy, with space, and with ourselves. In this experiential workshop, we will explore attachment theory through a somatic (body-based) lens. We will learn how attachment patterns form, how they express through our nervous systems, and how somatic work holds the key to healing our attachment wounds.

Through interactive lecture, guided somatic practices, journaling, and group discussion, you’ll begin to understand your attachment patterns more fully and develop the tools to create greater security within yourself—and by extension, within all of your relationships.

This workshop is ideal for anyone curious about their relational patterns or aware they have some healing to do; invested in developing healthier relationships; seeking deeper self-understanding; and/or looking for tools to support their attachment security in a sustainable and effective way.

Through this workshop, you will gain:

  • A working knowledge of how attachment patterns develop and function
  • The ability to identify secure, anxious, disorganized, and avoidant attachment responses/behaviors in yourself
  • A foundational understanding of the nervous system’s role in attachment and healing
  • Easily applicable tools to navigate moments in relationship when you and/or your partner are triggered
  • Somatic practices to regulate the nervous system and increase inner safety, both as a baseline and when attachment wounds flare
  • Greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and language to understand your personal relational dynamics
  • Initial steps toward cultivating a more secure attachment within yourself

We cannot change what we are not willing to see, and we cannot outsource our healing.

A testimonial from Meredith’s February 2026 workshop, The Somatics of Trauma: “Meredith really made this class so amazing. I did not know exactly what to expect going in, but the amount of information that was given was so digestible. Meredith presented it in a way that was easy to understand and apply to my own life. I really enjoyed that she presented agreements at the beginning of class that set the tone for listening and sharing so that everyone felt comfortable. I left the class feeling like I could move forward with a new confidence in myself and in my body.”
